Topic: EAD validity for one year
Hello,
Good news I think - i just received my EAD. It is valid for one year. I concurrently filed the 765 with the I-130/I-485. I understand this is probably why i received an EAD with 1 year validity. My 485 interview is set for early December. If that goes well, what comes out of that? I was under the impression that I still need EAD, even after that. If so, how does one do the renewal and stuff? I read that if you attempt to renew an existing EAD, they send you a new one with same validity date. Does one need to do a new 765 application in 9 months?

Mine went to CPO on Oct 1. Added that in the comment but i haven't seen an approval email or letter. Does CPO mean approved? |
Topic: got NOA for 485 but nothing found for receipt number online
I was hoping it is something like that - the fact that I have an NOA with a receipt number (that is right smack in the middle of the receipt numbers for my other concurrent filings) leads me to think its just an online database thing. I gave it a couple months, but still nothing, so I thought I should check.
As I said, the 130 is there, which leads me to believe the 485 should be in there also. In addition the 765 and 131 are there and have had LUDs last week

I've concurrently filed a 485, 130, 131, and 765. I received an NOA for all but only the 130, 131 and 765 show up on the uscis online status page. Should I be worried about that?

Topic: What drop down to use to add case being processed at NBC?
Given the lack of NBC in the drop downs, is there one service center people are using to capture cases being processed at NBC or anything?
If not, how should I add these cases given that Service Center is a required field? |
