Finally got my EAD card today. Valid for 2 years... :-)

Never got the "Approval notice sent" email. However received three soft LUDs in "CPO"

I think every half-an-hour. I have emails with timestamp 9AM and 4:30PM

So, I will take a Infopass next week. Hope they give me the status of where I stand in the post-RFE queue...

Almost everyone has got a Soft LUD for the next 2 days after TCS/NSC received the evidence. But I haven't got any soft LUDs after the hard LUD that "Evidence received", which worries me...

And I am planning to take an infopass next week, if I don't see any progress for the rest of the week.

Can someone share their past experiences on their RFEs?

Any idea how long does it take to get the EAD approved after USCIS receives the EAD? Will they process / approve it in days or weeks? Past experiences, anyone?

In my case, they (NSC) have received the evidence and status changed to "Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed".

I only mentioned that we are having tough time to manage without me working in our area where cost fo living is huge. I told them my offer which I have on hand that would be void if I don't join the company by end of Aug.

But, this has nothing do with my case expedited. They issued a RFE to which I replied back. They have received it now and said they will decide within 60 days.

Okay got my RFE (Additional) - They had asked for my our marriage certificate. Have sent them all today by Overnight shipping... Hope CRIS approves as soon as they receive the envelope :-)

Also, in any case, I am planning to send a copy of my offer letter. This is how I expedited, that if I do not accept this offer by end-Aug, it will be void.

Shilpa, Mine was "severe financial hardship" (I only explained the situation. They did not ask me to send any proof as fax). I got a RFE(additional evidence) after a week I expedited. Haven't received the letter yet; So I don't know what evidence are they expecting. I would assume it is marriage certificate or any evidence pertaining to my expedite request.

And, I am not sure how the case would resume after they receive the evidence. Some people have mentioned that their EAD's were approved within a week of submitting their evidence. For some, it has taken 30~45 days.

I haven't received my EAD yet. I am just asking how long would that be valid? Because, I heard that the EAD will be valid till the visa expiry... Is it true?

Searched many forums, there is no pattern. Some people have got their EAD approved in a week after CRIS received the evidence. For some, it has taken more than a month...

I hope they will approve my EAD soon after they receive the evidence.
