My I-140 is denied today. Received an email that both I140 & I485 are denied after 17 months!! I am not sure what my next steps are! |

Looks like NSC is taking the short way to clear the backlog. They are denying all the EB1Cs pending for long time:-( There are 2 denials in trackitt in last 2 weeks and both had an RFE. These are the only 2 with any response in this year from NSC. |

My attorney called USCIS to find out the status of the SR raised as its been more than 60 days since then. Looks like the IO informed her that they sent a letter on Jan-20 (on th 60th day) informing that the case will be adjudicated in 90 days.
Has anybody been in this scenario? Have they really adjudicated within the 90 days?
I am very sceptical as its been 5 months since we sent a reply for the RFE. I am thinking, I may have to raise another SR after 90 days and the cycle will coontinue forever :-(( |

gcgcgc, Congratulations! Looks like the 12/22 update fixed some issue. Cases that had an update on 12/22 are being processed slowly I guess. |

That soft LUD is normally just to reflect that they received the SR and then another one to reflect they sent a notice saying "we will respond to the SR in 60 days". But nothing happened after that.

I also read from your earlier thread that you had a soft LUD on 12/22. I also had a soft LUD on 12/22. Hope that means something. |

I dont think the SR helps in anyway. My situation is very similar. I just replaced my dates below.
My 140 was received on 10/10/06, RFE reply on 8/29/07, no responses from USCIS to date.
My lawyer sent an SR on 11/19/07, but no responses yet. |
