I don't work at Desmoine, IA, Yes the company who filed my labour is under investigation.
do u think that might be the reason.
I called USCIS two days back and I received this email from them today
Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within
6 months of this letter, please call customer service at the number provided below.

This is what my case status is, from past two months I see my dates are current
but I still see my application status of 485 is showing a status of 'Initial Review'
I didn't get any interview letter from USCIS, I called them 2 weeks back and they said
they are going investigate about the case. But I didn't here anything from them until now
Can some one tell me whats going on.

The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. Hello my I 485 case transferred to local office for processing on April 2008, I didn't hear any thing after that from INS
my PD is July 2004( with september 2009 visa bulletin I see my dates are current)
even I didn't get any interview calls, do u know what is going on.

I got my I-140 approved, I am on H1 for last 9 yrs, my presend employer involved in fraud
now I am thinking of changing to other employer (it another indian company)
but this time will be using my EAD and working for new employer (I am on a contract job)
what are the things I should do now to transfer my GC process to the new employer
other than
1) filing AC21
2) Changing my GC process to new company lawyer

And out H1 extension depends of how companies financial status is doing and also depending
on if the company have involved in any frauds right?
And your company means your employer right do you work full time for a company

I have been working on H1 from last 9 years, I have never been out of job.
I got my EAD (2nd EAD) and its almost more than one and half year afterI have applied for my 485
my 485 case has been transferred to local office one year ago, but didn't hear anything until now.
I heard from some of my friend that INS is not extending any more H1B because fo the economy and
they are asking employers to hire American's instead of H1B's.
My H1B is going to expire during october of this year, so I have to apply for 10th year
extension. I am still working on my H1B, I am not using EAD.
So my question is it right, is it right that INS is no more extending H1B's, please answer me. | | | |

It is a paper based filing. My lawyer has applied for my renewal, so I don't know
what documents he used. Sorry I couldn't answer your second question. | | | |

I have applied for my EAD renewal on Oct 2nd, I see there is a hard LUD today Nov 10th
saying that my EAD card has been mailed and it will take 30 days for me to receive.
So awesome USCIS just took 25 business days.

No problem at all, you can go on your AP and come back
make sure to carry all the AP copies(2 or 3 you get)
they will stamp on all and will keep one.
And also carry marriage certificate, don't worry at all 200% you will be fine
I stayed in india for 5 months and came back on AP. | | | |

my case transferred to local office in april 2008 and I didn't hear anything from uscis after that.
please let me know after your case got trasferred to local office, how many months it took you to get an interview letter.
and did u get the interview letter to your home or to the lawyer.

Its Paper file, our lawyer filed in Nebraska service center.
And do you think as they looked into my AP renewal, they will
also look into my EAD renewal soon.

Case Status: Document mailed to the applicant
I am hoping they have mailed my AP, it just took 19 working
days for my AP renewal
I didn't receive any email from CRIS, I logged in and saw
