Hi,
BOA has a standard letter for these purposes. Just call them, give them your account information and tell them that you want an immigration letter with your funds information. You'll probably be asked about the length that should be reflected in the letter, i'll advise you get it for the maximum length BOA offers, 12 months. There is a $10 fee for this. You should get the letter in mail in about 7 business days. If you want to get this quicker, instead of calling them go to one of the branches and place this order and you want this in the next few days, the teller will add an option to have their main guys send an email to the teller you are placing order with. Once he/she gets that email (within 1 to 2 business days, although she'll tell you 3), the teller can print that out for you to use.
Hope this helps. |

Hi,
The documents and some answers vary between cases, but here are the answers in general:
1. Pretty much any USCIS center close to you can take your biometrics.
2. I was given an option to get my biometrics done about 2 days from when I was applying for an appointment.
3. Passport and appointment confirmation.
4. Basically you need to prove whatever you have written in your application, passport, educational qualification, income proof, proof of funds etc.
5. Just sent my application, so can't answer this.
The one thing I will say is that send your papers carefully, take some time gathering everything and then send your application when you are comfortable you have everything you need to send.
Good luck. |
Topic: Tier 1 General process?
Hi,
I am planning to apply for UK under Tier 1 General (highly skilled). I'm in NY, US. I evaluated myself and can claim 85 points. Can someone point me to what I need to do to get things started? The forms, which parts of the forms I need to fill out for myself and my spouse, where should I be sending these forms and how much fees do I need to pay for myself and my spouse.
Since Tier 1 is a new process, have been unable to get too much help so far. Would appreciate any responses.
Thanks. |
Topic: Overstay in U.S
Hi,
I'm no expert on this, but i believe they do check at the port of entry if you are legal or not, so what i'd advice is you get everything taken care of here (medical and getting the rest of paperwork done), then travel back to your home country and from there fly out to Canada. |
Topic: Police certificate
Is this the address:
FBI, Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS Division)
Attention: SCU Mod D-2
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306 USA
?
I have 2 fingerprint cards, 1 for myself and other for my wife, do i need to send them 1 PC-1 form/letter for both of us or 2 forms/letters for the 2 cards i have?
Thank you for your answer and clarification. |
Topic: Police certificate
Hi all,
I'm a little confused on how to obtain police certificate from US. Yes i know the instructions are in the guideline for the center.
Went to my local police station today and took with me the letter in the guideline (PC-1), police staff there took my fingerprints and gave me the card. Upon asking when i should expect my report i was told i am to send that myself and should have the address and instructions in the documentation i must've been provided. My understanding is that my local police station is suppose to provide me with that, is this not correct? If i have to send my fingerprints somewhere myself to get a police certificate, could someone here guide me where?
Thanks. |
