Topic: Obama will approve Amnesty and Illegals will get GC before us

And in most of the case that immigration officer was an immigrant not so long time ago and he forgot about how he came to this country and treat you like sh... same as the officers in the airport or at any of the border entries, like Ciudad Juarez, Nogales or Tijuana.

Most of us started like you, working in a very small company making less than anybody and probably paying for your paperwork, managers taking advantage of you because you are Asian or Latino, etc...

I am not making personal remarks since I am not in front of any of you, my ego could be high and my soul too.

Topic: Obama will approve Amnesty and Illegals will get GC before us

Hey Ninja,
The homeownerhips is not my proposal, it's actually from Senator John Cornyn Amendment comments from user: drirshad; they could careless about the pain and suffering of legals or illegals, they are not looking to reunite families, they want 100K new homeowners.

--------------------
"Employment based legal immigrants (EB1, EB2 and EB3) who have stayed in the country for 6 years are economically well off and have excellent credit history. Once they get a Green Card, they'll feel more secure and think about buying a home and settling down.

Of the 195,000 families, 25 % may already own a home. 25% may not have the intention of buying a home due to various reasons. Even if the remaining 50 % buy a home, approximately 100,000 homes will be taken off the market. This will act as the much needed catalyst and will ease the Housing crisis a little bit. "

Topic: Obama will approve Amnesty and Illegals will get GC before us

I've started this Topic without calling names to anybody, not even those who are illegal since I know very well educated ones and not so educated ones and if they get the GC so be it, but I will be very frustrated, that's it.

About Obama's respond: Once they get a Green Card, they'll feel more secure and think about buying a home and settling down. That's bullsh... I've been a homeowner since 2002 (7 years), paying my mortgage on time, my credit cards, taxes, etc. If they want to recover the economy increasing the spending that will be just an inorganic fix...

Again, I've been reading tons of Topics on Trackitt since 2004 and I cannot understand the rage of some of our members, it's a very passionate Topic but we are in the same boat to get the GC, some of us will get it sooner some later and if we get a LC is because we have a sort of degree and a little bit of intelligence...

I might not as intelligent as others in this blog, but I have to be now arrogant: my Cum Laude in Informatics allows me to work in a Fortune 200 company making six figures a year.

Topic: Obama will approve Amnesty and Illegals will get GC before us

Before the end of Obama's second year in Office the government will approve a comprehensive amnesty and 13+ millions illegal immigrant will get the GC before us... Who is fighting for Legal Immigration? After being in USA for 9 years and following the due process before arriving to this country will be very frustrating watching people getting the GC after paying 1K fee to forgive them because they came illegally to USA.

Topic: Stimulus Package Eligibility for H1B and AOS who pay taxes

No stimulus for me since my wife have an ITIN, I entered my information in the irs website to track my rebate status since my SSN ends in 02, and the answer was you do not qualify. I want to change my 1040 in order to use only my SSN and my kids SSN (filling separately), however the next question is the "nonresident alien" and the SS administration knows your status since the SS card stands "Valid for work only with USCIS authorization", if the IRS asks the SSA about "resident" status they will answer "NO" he is H1B - non immigrant...

I will wait a couple of months until we get our Green Cards and them change the 1040 with resident status.

Topic: AC21 related questions

I have worked in 3 different companies in USA during my H1B and now my GC process and ALL of them have taken care of my applications, fees, etc. along with my wife and kids... They are not sponsoring my family, because I am the sponsor since they are my dependants, but the company is paying for everything (legal fees, attorney, medicals, visa fees, etc. etc.). What I wanted to express about sponsoring is changing jobs to a company that won't have the capital, revenues, etc. to help you as sponsor, them you will be in a really bad situation once USCIS request for evidence and the company will refrain to do it as they are doing it right now. If they want me as employee they will have to pay for my services along with my family.

Topic: AC21 related questions

I wouldn't take that job... Why are they not taking the entire responsibility about your wife EAD, AP, etc. It looks like a very cheap company and probably it won't qualify to sponsor your either.
