Topic: HOUSTON: No OCI Acknowledgement

Can someone tell me how many weeks/months it will take to get acknowledgement from Houston Consulate? I had sent application on Dec. 4, 2007. It has been more than 90 days, but no acknowledgement so far. I finally gave up on OCI and sent in my Visa application today by spending extra money. So, please plan ahead if anyone is applying to Houston Consulate.
