Topic: Changing Job, while on Work Permit

Hi,
I am on work permit in Canada and I can only work for named employer. Can I change the job while being in Canada, if yes, what is the process. My work permit is valid for another year.
I know same thing can be doen when you are on H1-B visa in USA.

Topic: Leaving Canada during PR processing

Hi All:
I am on work permit which is valid till Nov 2009 and I have applied for PR. If I leave Canada while my application in under process, will it impact my processing time.
Any advice will be highly appriciated.
