Topic: !! INFOPASS Appointment on Monday.Should i go ??..Help!

My Infopass Experience and positive results !

I tried calling TSC using the POJ method but with no luck of reaching an IO. Finally, I decided to take an infopass appointment at the Memphis USCIS to follow-up on our 485 applications. The IO was congenial and looked up the current priority dates and processing times. Initially, she said I am outside of the processing time since my receipt date is 1st Aug 08 although the application was received on 22nd Jun 08. When I brought to her attention that my application was mailed on 21s June 08. she reconsidered and told me that she is opening an enquiry on the case since my case was current in all regards.

I left the USCIS office with apprehension and scepticism.

While I was disappointingly watching the cases that were mailed and receipted after my cases, I was pleasantly surprised this morning with the approval emails. The card production ordered emails were generated at 4 AM and the mailed notice emails at 6 AM. Not sure, how the emails are generated.

All in all, I am not sure if it was the Infopass that made an impact but there could be a correlation (who know?). I would recommend that you guys try an infopass with that atleast you will not be fretting over not doing what you can possibly do.

Topic: Infopass and GC

Not sure if it was infopass but I took one last Friday to follow-up on my case since I had seen many approvals that were applied after my application. Lo & behold, I got the approval emails this morning for both of us.

Our cases were filed with TSC.
