Topic: US Economy will collapse due to USCIS

Seeing the October Bulletin and how foolish the DOS and USCIS can be. I strongly believe the US economy will collapse due to failed and misguided policies and unrealistic and unreasonable delays which will and is causing a huge lack of confidence in the US legal immigration system. This will ensure further collapse of the US economy. Thanks to USCIS & DOS for their failed policies. Every one is losing hope on the american dream.

Topic: Visa number for application with RFE

dont mean to be a spoiler here, RFE means nothing and USCIS update on website case status saying we will get back to you or make a decision in 60 days absolutely means nothing.

I got same RFE on my 485 last year August, my PD is 2004 and they also updated my case status online with the same lines saying you will recieve a written decision within 60 days. Its been more than 365 days and nothing :).

Its bull and dont have false expectations about visa#s being assigned after RFEs and stuff, you have chances of approval only when your PD becomes current on the visa bulletin. Good Luck.

Topic: EB3-India Predictions

I have a new theory now, dont know if it will come true. Here is my take for eb3 india predictions post october, my predictions are only from 2003-2004 nothing before and nothing after that. Below is my take:

For those who have a PD of 2003/2004 and RD (received date) of 2003/2004 for 485s with an LUD of 2/3/2008 on their 485s these folks will get their 485 approved by end of 2009.

For those who have a PD of 2003/2004, and RD (received date) of 2007 for 485s and who have an LUD of 2/3/2008 or not they will get their 485 approval by end of 2010/2011.

Now here is my take on eb3-India with PD of 2001/2002 irrespective of their RD for 485. For these folks I think they will get their 485s approved by middle of 2009 and some with PD of 2001 and PD of early 2002 will get 485 approved by end of this year.

Just my thoughts.

Topic: Please help Travel question. URGENT!!!

Enduring, thanks so much I will wait until you post the official USCIS memo.

All who replied here thanks a lot. Please keep this thread going and current just so that someone with similar situation or experience who actually have done this and been back without abandoning their 485 can post their experience.

Topic: 140 Revokal

Can someone who really knows (not speculators) tell me if there is any real benefit for an ex-employer in revoking an already approved 140 even after the applicants 485 has been pending more than 180 days and 140 approved.

When I ask benefit, I mean if there is any monetary gain in revokal of an employee's already approved 140 even if the employee leaves the employer in very good terms?

I guess if someone knows first hand please share and how much the employer will save or will revokal make no difference or will it cost him money instead?
