calling the 1-800 does not help.. they are customer service reps and not IOs.. they at most would suggest that you schedule an Infopass appointment. |

even if your received date does not show 07/23 (which means its over 100 days now) there is no guarantee that you would receive the EAD shortly .. it all depends where your case is lying .. mine is at CSC.. and there isnt any movement for issuing of ead cards.. at least i havent seen people at trackitt reporting ead cards from CSC..
you may definately want to change the received date on your I-485 so that you can take advantage of the AC-21 portability if you plan to change the job .. in that case your 180 days clock will start from the received date (date on the notice, when the case was received in the USCIS mailroom)

My I-485 is pending at TSC as it has the jurisdiction , My EAD card is pending at CSC.. *(got all receipt notices from CSC - start with WAC)
No news for EAD approval from CSC.. Riding the same boat..

Topic: Approval notice sent from CSC on 10/10 but still no physical EAD card in the mail
It may seem like the CSC is the worst service center among the lot.. but hey .. dont forget about the tragedy that has happened in and around southern california. It may be a reason that there are delays in dispatching the mails.
I too am waiting since i got the receipt notice date (09/18) .. My case is still received and pending. (received date 07/23) over 94 days now.. no clue as to whats happening.. but looking at the I-485 tracker (not I-765) it shows a there are people who filed in July and are still waiting for their receipt notices and EADs ..
I think we should patiently wait out till Nov 1st. *as per the DHS teleconf (that they plan to issue notices / EAD by oct end. After all if they have sent the notice they would surely work on it.. just a matter of time..
Meanwhile, it would be a good idea to also start a new thread to Only track EAD from CSC for people who are reaching / crossed 90 days mark. Looking at the tracker is confusing and not everyone is posting at the EAD tracker. |

Topic: EAD must be adjudicated before day 70
Hi,
I have received the notice from CSC dated Sep 18 for my EAD . Says received and pending .. all my apps reached NSC on 07/23 and were forwarded to CSC. My 485 has been transferred to TSC as it has jurisdiction (received the receipt notice for 485 too, got I-131 AP, got FP done. Waiting for the EAD card / approval notice. I have crossed the 90 days mark too. As my H1 is valid another 4.5 months My lawyer advises to relax and not contact USCIS.
What is CSC upto ? Is it because of the wildfires that they are slow in processing / dispatching EAD cards ? Anyone else in the similar situation ? |

hi .. what do u mean by USPS will not forward any USCIS mail. i plan to move on oct 31st and am waiting for my EAD card. i would update the address online on the USCIS website but i also am giving a forwarding address at USPS.com

looks like CSC is sleeping on EADs.. only NSC seems to be approving EADs (looking at EAD tracker)
i got my FP done today, hopefully it should trigger something. anyone else who is also waiting for EAD to arrive from CSC ? Its getting close to the 90 day mark now (app reached USCIS 07/23) ! |

looking at the EAD tracker no one is getting EAD approvals from CSC lately. It is beyond 11 weeks timeframe after USCIS received the application that the EAD approval has not come thru. Waiting for 90 days to elapse.
I have my FP appt tomorrow, may be it would trigger the EAD approval after the appointment .. any thoughts ? |
