Topic: Magic Email **Card production ordered*** (EB3-India)

"That means alomost 7.6 years taking for getting EB3 GC......wow!" .... not really for him, he used labor substitution and 485 was filed in August.

I don't think any sequence of options lead to IO, they are all going to customer service reps, they in turn forward the call to IO when deemed necessary. Please let me know if anyone has directly reached IO (without customer service rep) and what options were used.

Topic: Obama will approve Amnesty and Illegals will get GC before us

Call it whatever, but my opinion is, most of illegals should be sent back. There are more of them coming than the system can adopt, they developed their own so called cornered neighborhoods, they go for more kids (its unbelievable, they couldn't even afford to raise one kid), and ultimately those kids when they grow up had to rely on hard core jobs or some of them will become gang members. Look at the increase in gang and drug activity in California over the recent years. Who is MS-13.

Lot of employers are taking advantage of illegals, homeowners are getting their homes cleaned from illegals for only few $....so the system has to pay a heavy price later on for resorting to this kind of practice.

Ethically this may not be the right thing to do, but any entity has to protect itself from over abuse, and hence any effective solution that is implemented properly can help the system in a sustained way for longtime to come. So, the time has come for major immigration, implementation, and border security setup changes.

I don't like the fact that provisions for illegal immigrants keep coming up when we had any new bills for legal immigrants. Those 2 should be separate tracks and USCIS system is a third track to be fixed. Will Obama fix it, I doubt it, but i'm hopeful that system will evolve slowly to get better and in that process it will inflict lot of pain to the folks who want to follow all the rules and be legal.

Topic: How do I make sure my I-485 is linked to right I-140?

AG2008,

I've faced this problem and paying big price for my attorney's mistake. USCIS is dumb enough not to do any additional work to link older I-140 to your I-485, your best best is asking your attorney to fax or send a separate letter to them with the copies of I-140's along with simple explanation to link them appropriately. That's what my attorney did and I saw a hard lud on my I-140 3 months later with the amended I-140 was mailed back to attorney and it has the right PD.

Topic: VISA BULLETIN FOR DECEMBER 2008 - OUT

I've been in this system for about 5 years and over the years I've seen utter randomness, unpredictability, and unfairness from USCIS. I've seen many people buying LC and get GC in short time without having any real job, and have seen few people who followed USCIS rules but end up waiting over 5 years to get the GC. Overall, I guess, the fault lies with USCIS for their inability to recognize the LC substitution violations and not utilizing yearly GC quota.

All I hope for from USCIS is, some fairness, some predictability, and some transparency. Meanwhile, for me being fair to USCIS rules, I can't take any promotion at work (thereby spoiling my career) and continue to suffer until USCIS start following the rules they established.

Topic: 2 soft LUDs after address change on I-485.

I only heard about one soft LUD after address change over the phone for my I-485, why did they touch it twice on 28th and 29th?

Is it normal or some system weirdness?
