Topic: I moved.. now what?

You have to notify USCIS about your move. Fill AR11 form, you can do it online and after submitting AR11, it will ask for receipt numbers of your pending applications. Changing address will trigger soft LUD on your pending applications.

Topic: Primary maintaining H1 and Dependent on H4 to H1 and now wants to use EAD.

Hi All,

I am sure many of us had faced this situation earlier.
Here is our case. I am on H1 & my wife entered US on H4(2 years back). Last year she got her H1 & she started working on H1. In October 08, I applied for renewal of my H1 & not for my wife as she is already on H1 (with new I-94 valid till 2011). So, I didn't add her on my H1 extension.

We both had EAD from last year but we didn't use them, as my 140 was not approved. Now 2 months back I got my 140 approved and we both have applied for renewal of EAD. My questions is that, I wanted to maintain my H1 & she wanted to work on EAD.

1. So what is the procedure to get her on EAD? - Earlier she filled W4 when she started the job. Just filing 1099 will work ?
2. Do we need for file for "Change of status" for my wife?
3. I want to maintain my H1, so when we go for re-stamping, can she get her H4 stamped & after coming back, she can work on EAD. But will they stamp her H4, if I haven't applied for her in my H1 extension.
4. Both of us have expired visa (till Oct 08) on our passport. When we go out of US, can we show my wife's latest I-94 (from H1).

Please suggest.

Thanks

Topic: Suggestions for improving trackitt

First of all, a very big Thanks You for this great web site. Everything is wonderful here already, but I have couple of suggestions:

1. Trackitt should have SEARCH option to search the existing thread. Because I see people asking same question again & again & creating new threads instead of viewing (or contributing) in a pre-existing thread.

2. Admin should send warning for racial postings & try to identify & delete the fake profiles.

Thanks again

Topic: Got Straight 485 DENIAL

hmm.. new profile created.. .just to post denial of 485.. seems creepy to me.... I have noticed that recently people(employers) creating fake profile to create fear to those who are using EAD (or thinking of using it)...

Topic: RFE on I-485 EB3 India although my PD is not current

May be your EAD, AP filing case triggered this RFE. I saw my 485 cases (all 3 cases for me, wife & son) transferred from Nebraska to Texas after I filed for EAD/AP.
