The sad part is , in this day and age, we still have to rely on luck to something as simple as FIFO...

okay let me answer it for you. when u fill ar-11 online and update ur address for pending applications, there is a box which asks for your email id. now it is not mandatory to give ur email address. you might have missed it and hence would not have had received an email. |

I changed my address with ar-11 and pending applications online on 2nd august. I got confirmation emails for me and my wife on 08/07 and two soft lud's one on 08/07 and another one on 08/08. hope this helps. |

After following the visa bulletin for almost 4 years now, I always thought USCIS/DOS was incompetent. But after the release of the Aug08 bulletin at the mumbai consulate I decided to think outside the box and just maybe there is more to what we see.
For example USCIS said they will give 2 year EAD for candidates whose dates are not current. That means a loss of revenue considering the fact that there are a lot of candidates from Apr04 to Jun06. when the dates are current for these candidates they do not have to give them 2 year EAD's and guess what everybody has to pay $340 next year for renewal, as majority of the candidates applied before July31,07.
I don't know, maybe I am just thinking too much. But your comments are welcome. |
