Topic: Do we have to update fingerprints after GC approval?

I keep my fingers crossed, so I'll update it retroactively when I'll get the actual GC in my hands...

I want to thank everyone at Trackitt - the forum and the people are a great support to fellows like me.

Topic: Do we have to update fingerprints after GC approval?

I know that after GC approval we still have to maintain a current address information with USCIS. But what about biometrics/fingerprints? Still have to renew them every 18 month?

If yes, do we need to call and remind USCIS to make a FP appointment for us? How often do they forget to do that by themselves?

BTW, today I've got the "Card production ordered" hard LUD for myself and spouse, but nothing for my child yet. My NC is still pending.

And I've called NSC and asked will I get a notice whenever the NC will be finished and got the "Yes" answer.

Topic: August filers waiting for AP approval?

Ha-Ha! I've just noticed the Processing Date retrogression - Again! This Monday (01/28/08) Nebraska PD for AP was mid-October, 2007. Now it is August 15, 2007!!!! No wonder I haven't get anything so far. And such a retrogression happens every month!

Update: Just called NSC. My case is with an officer, and the decision should arrive soon. The representative IO said to call again in 2-4 weeks.

Topic: Expired I-94

Could someone please point out an info on how to do H1B renewal? I've seen such discussions but have no idea how to perform it. Is there any grace period? Mine I94 expired in August, 2007, before I became aware of such a possibility and its benefits. I don't have a lawyer and did my I140/I485 application myself. Should I (my employer, actually) just file I129 for me and my family again? I had one H1B extension period already - could it interfere with this post-I485 extension? Thank you for any help.
