Topic: Urgent RFE about medical exam---

Have you taken x-ray without the skin test.? if that is the case, uscis does not accept that. People used to get RFE for that.

Topic: Renewal of passport for GC holder

Friends, Two days back I have started a thread to enquire about the renewal of my in-laws expiring passport. Interestingly now I realised that my wife's passport also has to be renewed soon. It is expiring in 3 months. Could anybody tell me about the procedure to renew this and how long it takes.? Thank you.

Topic: Expiring passport with valid visa

Friends, this question is not related to immigration. But as most of you are experts on passport-visa issues, I am posting this here.

My in-law's passport has 10 years visitor visa stamped on it. Now that passport is expiring and she is trying to renew it. If they issue a new passport, still the visa stamped on the old passport is valid. Right?..or she has to send the new passport to the consulate to get a new stamp on it..?...Please advice. thanks in advance

I really dont know the answers to your questions. But I heard something which I want to let you know. If they deny (hopefuly they won't) the entire B2 visa which was issued for 10 years from the American consulate will get cancelled. For their next visit they have to appear at the consulate for the interview. This risk factor is there. You can double check this with somebody.

Friends, we have GC and now my wife's passport is expiring. When we renew it do we have to inform USCIS about this.?. Any info provided is highly appreciated.
