Topic: Interview - letter from attorney
I got home from work this evening and found a letter from my attorney saying they are ready to prepare me for my interview. Of course I rang them right away but he had left for the evening and I won't get to speak to him until tomorrow. Any idea what this interview is for? I haven't heard anything from USCIS and have had no recent updates on my case. My I-140 is still not approved as far as I know. Do you think it has been approved, just not updated on the website, and that this is my interview for AOS? I could just wait until tomorrow, but if any of you have had something similar happen I would love to know. I am beside myself with excitement at the moment - actually there are several me's beside me at the moment, not just one, lol.

Yippee! I thought I'd have to wait most of the 30 days for this to arrive.
Hope all of you waiting for yours get them soon. Mine has come from Nebraska

Same here, receipt date 16 August, Notice date 17 October, no sign of it online. But I have the physical paper as does the attorney so I guess it will show up online sooner or later. |

I got an e-mail yesterday to say my EAD has been approved, card production ordered, should receive within 30 days.
Receipt date: 16 August 2007
Notice date: 16 or 17 October 2007 (don't have the paper in front of me for the exact date)
Approved and card ordered: 7 December 2007
Interestingly I spoke to customer service Monday who advised me to take Infopass, which I had not yet arranged (because the office is long way from where I live and I couldn't get time off work at the moment), glad I hadn't!
So be heartened all, they do arrive eventually. I can't quite believe it actually, I have to keep checking the e-mail! |
Topic: Labour filed date
I want to make sure I have used the correct date when filling in the tracker. Do I use the date the labour certification was approved (2003) or the date the application was submitted (2002). Thanks, I want the info I input to be correct. |
