Topic: Is this situation in any American companies ?
I am facing a funny situation in my company. Background: I am a hardcode 4GL programmer, web, appl Server deployer & some extentant SQL and recently company started GC process and now asking to take additional responsibilities like Admin work (not tech/sys admin), printing some manuals & non technical support etc.,. Now, I am fear of, if I refuse to do these things, it may effect my GC process and market is so bad too. Please guys advise me, this common in Americans companies ?? Any suggestions ? |

I would like take your suggestions and experiences before diving into deep & endless immigration pool.
My company just started immigration process and regarding postal address, I have given one my friends address for communication, instead of where I am living. The reason : my friend address is permanent (he has his own house) and I am staying in rental apartment, my address keep changing if I move to another apartment. My friend and I live in the same state, county too. My friend is OKAY to use his address and I strongly believe him. If I do like this, is there problem with immigration in the future ? Did any body had similar experience ? Any suggestion ?????? |

The situation is un common, it is not at all required to sign on such contract, you already served 7 year to your company that is more than enough, but better to stick with company atleast for 6 months to 1 year, it help during citizenship. Please get more advise from other people too. |

Last time I didn't get it even I applied as joint filling with my wife & son, but my wife & son doesn't have SSN. This is like a cheating by govt, I paid full taxes, ultimately I am not elgible for any benifites. |
