Topic: EB1C Processing timelines in TSC?

No - hate to disappoint....but the only advantage to EB1C is no labour certification required and it's (apart from last August) always current.

The no labour cert thing makes things quicker as it skips this stage and you don't have to wait to file I485 like some other poor folk have to due to PD retrogression....but once it's in the system - it's the same process for everyone.

I was EB1C - about 10.5 months start to finish (very quick compared to some) - check the tracker for more examples

Topic: I-485 Address change mess!... suggestions needd

Call again using the POJ method call 18003755283 then select options 1,2,2,6,1,......1,1,3,4, (....is your application number).

If you get a message saying "there are no immigration officers available..." then hang up and try again. When you get through to the service centre you get a message like "Welcome to the Texas Service Centre".

Also - make an infopass appointment at your local office at the same time online - follow the links on the USCIS website.

Act quickly so they don't think your application is abandoned because you didn't turn up for your fp appointment (which is most likely what it is)

For reference - your lawyer should also have got a fp notice....didn't they forward it to you?

Wow! What's your problem? Sweetpea may be living here, "warm and fed" etc, but she / he has FAMILY in Zim....can you not imagine how helpless that feels?

She does not anymore and this is clearly stated in the name of this thread... Guys, I said, I wish Sweatpea well. I should have not started this. I am sorry. Can I go home and die now?

Nah - don't die - you're a good guy really :-)

Topic: Trackitt vs ImmigrationVoice

Don't rise - PLEASE!

IV performs a valuable service but they're vvvv militant (just a view - please don't abuse me for it)

I love this site because of it's friendly nature - don't change!

You know something - and I hope this isn't being overly-sentimental....

I've seen an amazing amount of compassion and understanding for others (not just Sweetpea) on this site. It's one of the main reasons that I spent so much time here when I was going through the process (which was WAY easier) than some peoples.

I "haunted" this site because you don't see some of the b/s that you see on other sites (and I'm not naming them), and it's why I'm still posting even though I have my GC

There are a few exceptions - but generally this immigration site feels more like "a family" or if you prefer it "a group in the same boat" than others.

Topic: letter from uscis

Is there another office close to you that you could try?

Otherwise if it's not too far away you could try just showing up - explain the situation - they may just let you in if you're lucky or schedule you an appointment at that time.

Sweetpea wins the nomination of a greatest whiner on this forum. Uncontrolled histeria certainly won the hearts and minds of the community.

Guess you don't watch the news about the situation in Zimbabwe then....she's not exaggerating

Russianninja wins most unsympathetic peep of the year award....shame - cos I've always enjoyed your posts before.

Say something nice and restore my faith in you :-)

Sweetpea - your posts have been some of the saddest that I've read....you were laid off at the same time as I got my GC - I felt like transferring it to you (I know it's not possible - but....)

My thoughts are with you and your parents - I teared up a little when you said that they were having to flee and shoot the pets. Hard as that is for them - they are truely caring people to do that rather than walk away and leave those poor defenseless animals to starve.

Good luck for your new job and for the green card...if anyone deserves it it's you
