Topic: AC 21 Portability

I am not sure. He said to me dont worry about money first. I think he would see how much you can afford and then charge. From the talk it seems he is reasonable guy. What I understand is Ron should charge from $1500-$2500 for AC21. This is my guess. For me, I found that it is very hard to find a responsive attorney and I felt Ron is the guy.

Topic: AC 21 Portability

I recently talked to Ron Gotcher of http://www.imminfo.com/ and I was very impressed by his demeanor and his readiness to help. He seems to be expert on AC21 and one person on this board gave his name. I am planning to hire him as I am expecting to get AC21 RFE or NOID.

Topic: LAID OFF!

Ofcourse it is best to have all the paystubs etc. The point (in the question) is that it is hard to find a job. In that case, just be ready to show a future offer. In AC21, (IMO) you dont have to enclose paystubs. Only when you are called for an interview, you would need to do so.

Topic: LAID OFF!

you are fine for another couple of months as you are not current. if you are in software, talk with a consultancy company. They can give u an offer letter in case you have an RFE for AC21.

Topic: After Greencard

samshereen,

I dont think I have written anything to offend you or anyone.. I spend almost 6 hours a day on immigration related issue.

"rules after getting the green card are very clear and all black and white with no gray areas. "

Where can I get this rule? Thanks in advance.

I am in the trackitt board from the day it started.

Thanks

Topic: After Greencard

Zaira/Others,

I want to move back to India and try to settle there. One reason for this whole change of mind is long green card processing and suffering attached to it. Anyway, now going back to India is certain. The only reason I concern is that in case I am not happy with my new job/business in India, I want to come back to US again. My plan is to leave to USA as soon as I get a green card and return in 4-5 months and apply for re-entry permit. Wait for the reentry permit receipt and then leave USA again for 2 years. I think I will get an idea in 2.5 years whether I want to live in India or not :)
