Topic: EAD Renewal, No Fingerprinting, Can we work....

Hi,

Our Old EAD is valid until October 26 2008.
We applied for EAD Renemal. Our EAD renewal has been approved and we got EAD cards on mail renewed for 2 years. We did not have finger Prints for yet.
Can we start working with these EAD cards without finger printing. Please advice.

Thanks

Topic: Denial Notice Sent

I read in Murthy.com that the applications that were E-filed, needs to send supporting documentation within a specifc time frame. I think its 7 days after e-filed. If the supporting documentation is not received then straight denial.

Mine was also E-filed during Fiasco. My Receipt number also looks similar to yours. Still waiting on my i-140.
Please share your case status as it goes along.

Hopefully the denial is because of supporting documentation.

Meanwhile. get in contact with your attorney and get some details on how your supporting documents were sent, were there any acknowledgement that package has been received sort of things...

Good Luck with your case.

Thanks

Topic: Derivative working on EAD; Is she eligible to apply for H1.

Hi,
I applied for 140/485 during last year Fiasco. I am still on my H1.My Wife is working on EAD.
I have some concerns that my 140 might be RFE'd or denied by looking into the current scenarios in this forums.

My Questions:
1. My wife has her masters in Computer sciences. Can she apply for H1 and still can continue to work on EAD.
Will there be any status issues if she applies for H1 like Present 485 application of being denied...

Any suggestions..

Thanks

Topic: Can refile of 140 be done on a Substitute labour

Yes, There should be a rule that no substitute cases will be refiled.

I have seen cases where these substitution case guys have cut over the normal guys. I have known a guy who has got a substitute labor as of 2004 but that guy is working in US only from Dec 2006. See how hard it is for the normal filers who have been waiting for years....

My 2 cents...
