I have done exactly same thing....
EB2 - EB1 and got approved last few mionths...
what you have to do it send one letter to NSC tell them you want to interfile your pettion..
otherwise they will automatcially interfile your case..

We got our welcome notice same day and same day card production. i got my card within 6 days. But my wife's card hasnt arrived yet.
Is there any possibility for delay... or spouse card always arrives after the principal applicant..
please share your experince
