Topic: H1b FY2014 - Regualat Quota - Regular Processing - Any Updates

we received the receipt for my wife yesterday for H4 to H1 non AD, Filled at California Service center. When I added the case to my USCIS portfolio it shows 4/25 last update date, and then as we see in next five days the employer got the receipt through post. So hopefully many more of us will see receipt coming in next few days. All the best guys !!

Topic: H1B/H4 221g victims- Media exposure

This all started when we came to India for re-stamping. Attended 1st interview on 29Aug and got refusal based on 221g on 19 Sep stating "Company/Petitioner unable to provide qualified employment in US". Company made amendment as current client was different than one in original petition and I re appeared for interview on 20th Oct. This time Consulate again refused the visa based on the same earlier reason (Consulate replied back to my employer query that it went to KCC on 24th Oct). And still now I haven't received my passport back. Wife and 3 year old daughter went back to US a day before we receive the first refusal with the thought that visa approval will come through and is just matter of some administrative time. we didn't want to delay her Air travel as on that time she were into her last tri-semster of pregnancy.

Just for your reference that my 3 year daughter is a US citizen, and also we just bought the town home a year back. Current situation will soon put us at a point where we will not be able to pay mortgage on the property. We are state resident for the past 4.5 years.

We feel that we have not been given fare chance to deal with the current situation (which is to re-enter the United States and wrap around things in family) because there is no way we, as the petition beneficiary, will ever come to know what were the gaps in petition and what we as the individual could have done better. I applied to this current job by responding to the one of posting in Job Portal, got selected and petitions were well approved by USCIS.

And now on 10th Nov 2011 I missed to attend my baby boy's delivery. I watched all from here through Video Conferencing. I strongly believing that I don't deserve all this suffering. I am ready to join-in with you all. Please add my id which is "hemantsaxena" and let me know when you want to do the call.
