My friend as long as you have a valid AP you are good to travel. I traveled to Pakistan in December 08. Same thing happened to me as like Salman IO didnt ask me a single question about job or about pending 485.

1. Yes you have go through NSEER registration.
2 Yes you can use AP to enter US and you still be on your H1-B status unless you dont use you EAD and update your I-9 form.
I already did this and it went pretty OK. |

Topic: Go out of US and come back to be admitted as a permenent resident.
I got my Green Card approved on 12/05/08 while I was out of the country then I entered the country as a parolee using my AP on 01/02/09. I recieved my card in mail already.My attorney's advice is to go out of the country and come back to be admitted as a permenent resident the sooner the better according to her.My question is it really important to make this trip!! Does it affect my status in general just to wait and travel in an organised way.Your advice is appreciated |

I have a green card. If I stay out of US of 5 months and then come back for 1 week and travel back for 5 month. Does it break continuous residency requirement ( I believe you trip wont be 6 month longer) Please advise |

On December 5th I recieved CRIS email with following message
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Card Production Ordered.
On December 19th I recieved following email.
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Approval notice sent.
Does it mean that my Green Card has been returned ?

I got CPO email from CRIS on December 5th. Though I never recieved Welecome New Resident email. Is that normal or do I have to worry about this.
Second question is I put my mail on hold. Did post office send immigration mail back to USCIS even if I put mail on hold. |

I Left for Pakistan on Nov 29th and on Dec 05 I recieved CRIS email on my and my spouse I-485 application that Card production ordered. Since I am out of USA I have put my mail my mail on hold. Need to ask guru is this the right choice if not then what should I do. If by chance green card return back to USCIS what is the procedure to get it back from immirgation. Help help |
