Topic: Finally received "Card in Production" email !

Actually I only called once and I received the appointment letter in about 3 weeks. However, I forgot to mention my wife's case so he only sent one appointment. I then waited for a few more months and called again for my wife's appointment and again it took about 3 weeks to get the date.

Topic: Finally received "Card in Production" email !

It's been a very long time indeed, waiting for this email. Finally it arrived last night. I have been a frequent reader and beneficiary of this forum so I am sharing my case info for any one to get a ray of HOPE. What I learned that sharing info does help in decreasing some anxiety :)
Thank you all and best wishes.

GC Category : EB3
Country : Pakistan
Labor Filed (RIR) : 8/12/2001
Transfered to P-BEC from MD Labor Dept. : 2/18/2004
Priority Date : 8/24/2001
45 Day Letter Received : 2/14/2005
45 Day Letter Response Sent : 3/23/2005
Labor Approved : 10/23/2006
I140 and I485 Filed Concurrently : 12/19/2006
I140 and I485 Notice Date : 1/24/2007
FP # 1 : 8/25/2007 I had to call and schedule an appointment.
RFE Issued : 1/8/2008 Skin Test was not done the first time. They asked for it in RFE.
RFE Replied : 2/15/2008
RFE Received : 2/18/2008
Name Check : Never found out when it was done and how long it took.
Card Ordered Date : 3/5/2008
Card Received Date : Waiting ….
"Notes (1) : Wife's case was also processed pretty much along the same time line. Except that I had to schedule her FP separate. She did not have any RFE in 485.
"
Notes (2) : If you know that your skin test is positive, then most doctors won't do the skin test second time, they simply do the xray directly. However this is not acceptable to USCIS. They asked me to do the Skin Test through RFE. Surprisingly, when I did the Skin test, it turned out to be negative. Now I don't know if this second test was wrong or the first Skin test that I had years ago was wrong. Doctors say that once your skin test is positive, it will never be negative again.
