Topic: Unwritten policy at NSC ?

rvinay, I'd say, believe the IO! I called NSC less than a month ago to inquire about the status of my application and asked the IO whether I should renew my EAD (which would've been due in a couple of months). Even though she was extremely nice, she couldn't give me any more info than I could see online. However, she assured me that I would get the AOS approval way before the EAD renewal deadline. She didn't want to sound overpromising, but I was really encouraged by the information she provided. I got my AOS approved on May 5th!!! So, be positive, and know that it's going to happen soon. Good luck! And let me know when you get your approval!

Topic: May 5, 2008 - Monday a Lucky Day!

Dear KongLongNu,

your prayers did work for me! May 5, 2008 turned out to be a lucky day for my family. I got a notice by e-mail "welcoming the new permanent resident". Thanks!
I wholeheartedly wish good luck to everyone!

Topic: Calling July and August 2007 filers for online status..

Verma, I'm just curious, how is it possible that you have applied for an AOS in July or August of 2007 with a PD of 2004 when according to the Visa Bulletin 01OCT99 was the cut-off date for EB-3 India?

When you're entering your case number, make sure to type the first three letters.

Topic: Applied for SSN; Changed Status From H4 to EAD.

EAD is NOT a status. It's just a permission to work while your wife is on H4. Whether she uses her EAD or she doesn't, her status doesn't get affected.

OK, here's what you need to do:
watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_b1GKGWJbE8
then check out this site - site www.thesecret.tv
then order the book "The Secret", read it, and you'll become a new Juan Ramirez whom you've never known. Don't forget to inform me about the miracles that are about to happen in your life:)
Everything is in your head! Best of luck.

Topic: EB3 ROW Approvals Coming in!!!

Halleluyah! Finally there's one person who has a positive mindset. It's sickening to read all these pessimistic and whining comments of some self-proclaimed "immigration gurus". As soon as someone makes a positive prediction in this forum, these "gurus" immediately backfire with their negative forecast/predictions based on so-called "data" or "facts". It's about time to catch on a simple reality, i.e., there's no method to the USCIS's madness. Just be positive and hope for the best. Good luck to everyone!

"jail walking (when you cross the street outside of the designated area)."

It's JAY WALKING, for which you may end up in JAIL ...if you're an immigrant:))

Topic: Processing Time Explanation

Your PD doesn't have to be current for the I-485 to be approved. I've been told this by an IO.
