Topic: Oct 2015 Visa Bulletin changed

We should definitively do some sort of crowd funding to cover part of his costs. Thank You is good, but all this costs a lot. If he is able to pull it off, he should be the first choice for Indians and chineese for immigration needs over others (specially the Big M lady who didn't do shit).

Trying to figure out the maximum validity people have received. We only received one year. Has anyone received more than a year?

It is, but I've no option. Although they are one of the biggest immigration firms in the country.

1) 485 stays pending until they are ready to process it which would when the date becomes current. 765 and 131 are approved.
2) you will receive an RFE when the date is current and future they are ready to process 485. You can submit medicals then.
3) the biggest pro is to not go through the h1 renewal process and stamping in an overseas consulate. Travel out of country becomes easy.

i was clearly told by my attrny that medicals are not required at this time. They can be done when USCIS sends RFE for 485.

Guilty, but again not all US grads work in IT for desi consulting companies. And no one really cares about IIT or IIM here, again most of the IIT IIM alums are alums of our Univs here as well! So there.

May be its true for many, but not for all. Here is one as an example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajaypal_...

In any case, this US grad, non US grad tiff seems to stem from the insecurities of non US grads. Research does not pay as well as industry does, and I assure you in the healthcare industry, there isn't any place for non US grads. These are truly specialty occupations that need 4 year bachelors, with 3 years masters, that an average person with an NIIT background does not have. It is abominable to compare a non US grad with some basic IT skills from some desi rinky dink place, with say a US educated software engineer from a reputed university.

Comparing "desi rinky dink place" with a "US reputed university", is like comparing apples to oranges, or even assuming all non us grads are from NIIT tells a lot about your argument. India has its share or Rinky Dinky places (may be more), and so has US. It all depends on the person.

Facts about emi4gc:
- joined trackitt on 14th july 2012.
- in 3 days he has written in the north of 160 posts - about 2 posts every hr.
- his shitty existence on trackitt has been on the two 3012 discussions bashing Indians.

I think he is just a sucker sitting on his couch all day doing nothing but writing posts. So he needs to be ignored and left in his f'd up world. He is just another loser living on our tax dollars.

List of Indian Americans.

Our contribution to this country speaks in itself. Nothing can change that, not matter how much some people whine about it.

For you sure it is! Since you don't have the brain to get a degree from the U.S., no wonder you would think your Indian degree is better. Your shallow mentality made us laugh a little though. Thanks.

I never said that I have an Indian degree. None of your business.

I even did not say that Indian degrees are better than American. That's a generic statement. But who am i speaking to...you need to first learn to read before you respond. I am sure they teach you that in Argentina.

PS: By the way I have utmost respect for people from Argentina and your soccer and hockey. I don't want to change that by getting into a discussion with you. The only reason i am bringing up the country is because you guys are targeting India.

"How does an engineering degree different from US institutions (non-Ivy leagues) or Indian institution from educational standpoint?" - you work with one and you know the difference. You can keep yelling that your Indian engineering degree is better than a U.S. degree - no surprise you will say it since that's what you have.

Ignorance is a Bliss!

the argument is there should be a separate line for students who went to school here and contributed to the local economy.

For students who study in USA there Priority date should be when the were admitted as students so that people from India/China degrees who contributed nothing to US educational system and universities do not get ahead of them.

I am sure you are not as stupid as you sound there. God bless you and your degree!

- "unscrupulous workers with dubious degrees": Your view, not a fact. Does your view matter, no.
- "will be standing ahead of me": You know nothing about this bill. If someone applied after you for labor, this bill will not put him ahead of you. Only those who applied before you, will get in line at the right place.

Fine - the same thing applies to Indians as well. Tons of Indians come here via grad school route. Your argument doesn't stand at all. What matters is when you filed your labor (i.e, when your employer felt the need for you to be here permanently).

- Where in my comment did you feel i lost temper?
- Every company has some or other immigration issue. Just because these companies use more visas and are from India, they are in limelight.
- I didn't want to go into ethnicity, but since you've quite openly used India and Indians in this discussion, i was just responding. And for that matter, I gave credit where it was due. Did you give Indians credit for anything. For all i am seeing, you are only bashing our community.
- I don't have so much time as to sit here and keep on discussing the same thing with you, i have better things to do. Your comments/ views won't change an iota of anything, so i suggest you get back to your work and stop targeting Indians just for the sake of it.
