Do all family members have to do medical? And the cost will multiply accordingly...right?

Topic: IELTS

How does it become 15...?? I thought a score of 6.5 was 2 points and rest everything would be 4 points each..making a total of 14.

Topic: IELTS

Received my IELTS today...it is Writing(6.5), Reading(8.5), Listning(8.0) and speaking (8.0). Does that make 14 points? I need at least 11 to make 67. Screwed up in writing. With 14 I make 70. Is that a safe score?

Topic: Buffalo : Notarized Photocopies

Most banks do have notatries. I did mine at HSBC bank here. One branch said that they would only certify my signature. I went to another branch and they did notarize all my docs (about 30-40 copies) and also offered me a cup of coffee....all for free. Try different banks. I suggest you try Chase or HSBC, if you have one where you live. Good luck!

Topic: Buffalo AOR Waiting Period

Guys, as you would have noticed the timeline to receive an AOR for applications submitted in Buffalo seems to be increasing quite a lot. As of now from the statistics from this website it seems to take more than 2 months to get an AOR. Does anyone have an idea on what the reasons are? Is it normal at this time of the year? Can we expect it to go down in future?

Topic: FBI record request

Ok Guys. An update. I got my FBI check in 2 weeks. I did put a deadline date on the top on the envolope and also on the application form. This was the easiest of all things that I have done till now.

Lystrom, what you need from FBI (and they will not provide anything else), is your fingerprint card back with a stamp from them at the back side of it stating that their is no arrest record on your name. You will need an FBI fingerprint card (which you can request via regular mail) and get your fingerprints done at a local police station.
