Topic: Cases rejected - Maintenance Fund proof older than 7 days...Review of these cases?

Hi,

Since the rule has changed now and all the cases which were rejected SOLELY on the basis that the proof provided for Maintenance Funds was older than 7 days from the date of application, will be reviewed..........Anyone has any idea as to how these cases will be reviewed? How do we have to get in touch with the BHO? My case was rejected in June 2008 due to this reason and i want to get it reviewed now.......Please help..

Topic: TIER 1 VISA denied on General grounds of refusal ???

Has anyone heard of a TIER 1 Visa getting denied due to General grounds of refusal ??? I had applied for TIER 1 in June 08 but the VISA got rejected because the Maintenance Funds proof was older than 7 days.

But also, it was mentioned in the document that "Your application has also been considered for General Grounds of Refusal".
But "Not applicable" was mentioned in the column where the exact reason should have been mentioned for the refusal due to General Grounds.

What could have been the reason? Any idea? Because now i am planning to get the case reviewed since the 7 day rule is over and all the application rejected earlier due to this rule of Maintenance funds will be reviewed.

PLEASE comment.....

Topic: Tier 1 (general) filling this 5th Dec - is this documents enough ?

Hi wannafly,

I think maintenance proof anyhow is included in the documents provided for main applicant, and a reference about it needs to be mentioned in the dependent's cover letter. I am applying tommorow. If you have any specific queries, then let me know and i will enquire about them for you at the visa office tommorow.

Topic: Tier 1 (General - PBS) - Application form fillup

Hi,

Fill the forms with relevant and true answers. A single covering letter should cover explainations for all the points earned. If you have any problem with any specific question in the VAF9, then post your question.
