Topic: Finally, it is my turn!!!

Rxmahade,
I saw you filed I-485 on last Dec, even your PD is 2001. Technically you need to wait until you reach the processing time. I am sure you will get your turn this summer.

Topic: Finally, it is my turn!!!

Just came back from a business trip. Since I was tied up with the conference, I didn't have a chance to check my e-mail since last night. Then when I logged in to my USCIS account (as usual), I saw a LUD, I was not that excited because I've seen several LUD's in the past two months. Then I clicked the case, I saw this:
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On April 22, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

I quickly went back to my mailbox and found two e-mails from CRIS. The e-mail was sent out on 8:00am. My wife got the same e-mail.

The whole process took me more than 5 years. Guys, it is just a matter of waiting until your case is reached. The next is your turn. Good luck to everybody. This is a great thread.

I spoke to an IO at NSC yesterday. She told me " Up to date we found over 50,000 cases which meet NC Memo"!!!
I don't know if I should believe her or not.

Longwait,
Did the letter indicate when USCIS will proceed your application?

Anybody know what's CAO's function? Is that a same dept as Nation Customer Service?

Topic: Letter from USCIS Customer Assistance Office (CAO)

I made my request on 02/05/08 and received a response from Ombudsman on 03/15/08. Then USCIS CAO replied on 04/04/08. I don't know what's next? Can't imagine I can get approved in 7 days....
