finallyyyyy...i got my EAD card...
here is my case summary
uscis e-filing on 05/04
uscis RD: 05/05
addr changed : 08/07
no updates after that..
mailed ombudsman after 165 days on 10/13
acknowledgment from ombudsman on 10/14
no update after 1 week so mailed again to ombudsman on 10/20
letter from uscis on 10/24 informing that case is under review.
called uscis on 10/28 and raised an SR for interim EAD
10/31 status changed to approval notice sent
11/03 status changed to card mailed.
11/07 received EAD Card !!!!

hello all,
My case is approved...wow..after a longggggg wait ( 179 days) on 10/31 my status changed to 'Approval notice sent' .
I am now waiting for my card. I hope it reaches me soon.
now question time
i did not see a CPO status. Will it follow after approval notice sent? and only then will i get the card or how does this work? pls let me know. |

hey...
i called the number..thru my regular option ( 1,2,3) and then CSR accepted a request for interim-EAD. She asked me to wait ofr 45 days. my status changed to approval notice sent yesterday.
I am yet to receive the approval notice or the card. keepin my fingers crossed :) |

i tried..but after 1, 3 is for address change and it doesn't accept 4 as a valid key.
i usually try 1, 2, 3 1-english, 2 - already field application 3 - no recepit #, which connects me to a CSR. |

i did call them...and i usually call them only about my EAD...
i tried everything
infopass
n number of calls to uscis 800#
ombudsman...
no use...my status is still received and pending..
but i received an e-mail from uscis 2 days back, telling my case is under review and cand be adjudicated only when the review is complete. they did not specify any time lines.
i called uscis after receiving the mail and the CSR has raised a SR for interim EAD. and they will take another 45 days time to reply for the SR... god this is so ridiculous!!!! |
