Topic: H1B self filing

I know. Well, this is my 9th year H1B extension and the company is getting annoyed about paying for 1 year H1B extensions. They will pay, but at the end when the green card bill comes in, I'll have to pay that part. We spent now over 4k just for H1B extensions. The immigration to US is expensive

Topic: H1B self filing

Did anyone file H1B renewal on their own? I have an agreement with my company about cost of green card and they are now putting H1B renewals into the GC cap. In order to save money, I am thinking about doing it by my self, as I have previous applications.

Any info appreciated

Topic: Approved EB3 NSC - Approx 450 days.

I am in the same situation. My I-140 was transferred from TSC to NSC. Still shows pending. About guesstimating, have no predictions. I believe that most of our I-140 will be decided by Apr 09 (filers from the fiasco time line). My colleagues wife applied for I-140 in NSC in March 08 and she got approval this Oct. So, go figure.
My employer called the NSC, spoke with a customer rep and was told that all files are uploaded in the computer and ready to be processed. What does that exactly mean, no idea, as I wasn't on the call, but at least I know that everything is there.

good luck to all

Or why don't you say it honestly

this is great for my selfish reasons, so that I can get it done faster :-)

Topic: Major Push to Clean up I-140 Backlog

1. removing per country caps for EB based green cards. (requires legislation)

you think this is fair? what about applicants from smaller countries? With this, their chances would be minuscule to become LPR

I agree with your points 3 and 4, but first two don't make sense.

Topic: Number of oustanding I-140 applications

Anyone has an idea how many outstanding applications are at TSC and NSC? I checked for month of Aug TSC approvals in all categories and there were cca 180 in trackitt. Now if trackitt represents between 1 and 10% of the applicants, we are coming to a pretty good number of approved applications.

Also, I am curious how many IO are working at TSC and NSC?

thx

Topic: When IO will touch my I-140??????????????

I would pay without blinking for PP, but I had the luck to hit backlog twice.

Once for labor certification, filed in Jan 05, waiting until Feb 07 to get approved and now in I-140.

Topic: Anyone with soft LUD from NSC in April for EB3 got approved?

I had 5 LUDs in April and nothing happened since then. I would not put my hopes up high.

Topic: TSC vs NSC

Actually, I think TSC has more staff, so they can process more applications. I don't see any other logical reason why TSC works faster. I don't think that TSC is more efficient then NCS, government agencies are all the same.
Also, from jurisdiction point of view, I should been at TSC, but my I-140 was filed at TSC and I-1485 at NSC, which caused my I-140 to be moved to NSC :-(

Well, aren't we all waiting for something always. Better jobs, better pays, GC, then again waiting for better job, better pay. Just think of this as another waiting queue in endless waiting for something in life. :-)

all the best to all
