Topic: help on Review for HSMP Refusal

In my opinion if you have submitted genuine docs, and reason for rejection is what you mentioned then there is scope of review, but it will surely take time atleast 28 days from the date of receipt of the Administrative Review request notice as per guielines. Remember you can not submit any additional docs which were not available to them at the time of initial app. The applicant is not allowed to provide new evidence

Write detailed info abt your case and confirm from ur HR first if they ve received any verification call or mail from them.
Note:The applicant has 28 days from the date of receipt of the refusal notice, to submit a request for Administrative Review.

Regarding docs this is what guidance states:
Applicants MUST NOT send any additional documents such as passport or supporting documents with the Administrative Review request notice. If the refusal is subsequently overturned, the applicant will be asked to send in their passport. The administrative reviewer will examine the evidence submitted with the original application, copies of which will be kept at the refusal post.

Hope it helps

All d Best

Topic: Applied from India Under Tier 1 ?- Pls post here

Shraina,

You can claim points against allowances only if they are paid to you and if they are mentioned on your payslips, else not.
Tier1 Fees is 51000-/- only, for Indian applicants and you can pay it by card, DD etc at the time of submitting your application at VFS.

Topic: Does Tier 1 include the HSMP approval and entry clearance in one go

yes you are right, Tier1 doesnt have two phases, like HSMP

Topic: Anyone with HSMP Approval Letter applying for Tier1 after 1st April

Well work permit authorizes you to work in UK, but if you want to immigrate to UK then you need Tier1 visa which was earlier known as HSMP. If you score low in that then you must go for work permit and then later on you can switch to Tier1 once you qualify for it.

Topic: Do we need to show Bank Balance to get EC????????????

Well b4 jumping to conclusion, please go through UKBA website
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/immigrationlaw/immigrationrules/appendixc/

This wil tel u about maintaining GBP2800.

Now secondly I have said that after june 30,2008 tier1 will be open globally, till now it is open for UK and India only. So if someone wants to apply for EC after june30 then he wil come under transitional arrangement for this again pls refer to the bia site.

sahmed32:

any application from 30th June onmards will fall under Tier1...and in that case you have to maintain minimum 2800 and not a penny less than that, in ur bank a/c for period of 3 months..once u get your HSMP approval letter you wil need to make Tier1 application, and along wid dat submit 3 mnths of bank statement and ur approval letter, passport, photographs, biometrics.

Yes you got it rite, from June30,2008 onwards Tier1 will b open for rest of the world. So everyone will come under Tier1 only. In that case you need to do wht I wrote previously.
