Topic: why should it take an avergae of 10 months to be re-untied with your spouse?

as far as i understand, you have to wait to be able to work legally in Canada. If you do not have a pr card can't work right? And my husband had to wait in his own country until he was accepted by the embassy in Paris before he was even able to visit Canada. They denied him a visitor visa because of so many people coming over on a visa and staying illegally in the country. Was very hard but so worth it now :)

hi there, i know it is very hard and unfair,b ut unfortunatley how it works. 10 months isn't bad. I am reuniting with my husband tomorrow after waiting 2 years to be with him. So i hope that'll make you feel a lil better :)
