Topic: CRIS Texas system not updated

Why is the CRIS Texas system not updated? My H1B transfer was approved in August, and the system only shows that it was submitted and, according to them, is pending since June. I also traveled on Advance Parole, and I know that they looked up the case, etc. but I didn't get an LUD. My lawyer also filed for AC21 and, again, no LUD....
I'm just wondering what is going on.

Especially with the H1B approval - it seems like the system is 4 months behind!

Topic: Any predictions on August 2008 VB - India EB3

Thanks for your insight. It was very informative.
Quick question - I am ROW EB3, PD of July 2005. Do you recommend that I switch to EB2? To me seems that it might be faster to stay on EB3 (and not to mention cheaper). Thanks for your answers.

MonaMehta, your comment was very mean and uncalled for. Why be like that?
As for August EB3 predictions... I'm sorry but you don't have to be a psychic to know that it will be U.

Topic: CURRENT FOR 35 DAYS

I am not a new kid on the block. This is not my first greencard application.
I have been in the US for 13 years now, since early 1995.

I am on my 6th visa.

So you don't know my story, just whatever facts that you got from my profile.
I also don't know your facts, but it is possible that I've been legally in this country (and working towards one day becoming a permanent resident) for longer than you.

Topic: CURRENT FOR 35 DAYS

So I've been current for 35 days now... When I first saw that I was current in May (around mid-April) I was soooooooooo excited! Now, my hopes of becoming America's Next Greencard Holder are fading away...

Oh, how easy it is to despair....

Topic: RFE's AND APPROVALS

Everybody that has gotten an approval recently under EB3 ROW has had an RFE. It seems like this since mid May. Anybody knows why, or thinks otherwise?

Topic: Moving Backwords with EB-i485 in TSC?

I understand your feeling. I've been waiting for mine for 12 years - working for the same employer since 2001. was only sponsored in 2004, now waiting since then.... waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting.... tired of it too, but nothing we can do!

Topic: Moving Backwords with EB-i485 in TSC?

It makes no sense that they would have processed cases up to Jun 29 and now they are back at June 21. What happened? Did they find a box full of older cases that they had misplaced? Did they forget they had two extra cabinets of applications in one of the document rooms?

In my experience, processing times don't really matter that much. They do give you and indication of where they are, but they are not cast in stone. Also, by retrogressing this date, they can tell more people in the phone "I'm sorry, but your case is outside of processing dates. Call back if your case has been within processing timeframes for at least 30 days and you haven't heard from us." That's my opinion.
