Submitted Expedite Request on 6th May, no update as of yet. Soft LUD on 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th May, 16th May and 18th May, but no status update. Still 'case received and pending' :(. Finally got letter from USCIS, expedite request rejected. :( |

I received 'Approval Notice Sent' email on 16th June. Never received 'Card Production Ordered' email.
How long does it take to receive the physical EAD card in the mail ?
I havent received it still :( |

Today I received email stating 'Approval Notice Sent'. I havent received email stating 'Card Production Ordered'.
Does this mean they will send EAD card alongwith Approval notice or I should expect other email stating 'Card Production Ordered' ?

Topic: Something wrong with processing time of OPT with California Service Center
Hi,
I am not sure if everyone is facing the same problem.
My application was received by CSC on 31st March. There is no update so far regarding approval (77 days have passed). I dont know how long to wait for the OPT approval. I have already extended my job start date 3 weeks, it was supposed to start on June 2nd. I think I will to extend it again for other 2 weeks. I had given expedite request about 4 weeks back, and they rejected the request.
I have many friends having same problem and they have receipt date around 23rd March - 31st March. Dont know whats going on at the CSC.
I am not sure what to do in this situation so as to get the OPT approval as soon as possible.
Any one having similar problem or aware of a possible solution, please do let me know.

Is it fine if I update AR11 with my friends address in Arizona (showing that I am still staying in AZ) but move to washington?
After receiving my EAD, I can then update address again with AR11 to that of washington. Would this be fine ?
Also, I have filed expedite request on May 6th 2008. I had soft LUD on 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th May but no status update (case received and pending). I am hoping they accept the expedite request. Do you have any idea with this kind of behaviour ?

Thanks for the reply.
But, the problem is that our lease is expiring and everyone from the apartment is moving out, so we wont have access to mailbox any longer. I would be moving to Washington and washington is not under the jurisdiction for CSC center.
Is there any thing I could do in that case ? |

I had one more doubt. I files at California Service Center since I am in Arizona.
I would be moving to Washington which comes under Nebraska Service Center. Would CSC then cancel my application or transfer it to NSC since Washington is unser NSC jurisdiction? |

How long does it take USCIS to confirm the change of address ?
Actually I am waiting for my OPT (I-765). I would be moving out from my current residence on May 31st 2008. I filed I-765 on March 31st 2008. So, am expecting approval any time soon.
I have read from the posts that USPS sends the EAD back to USCIS as undeliverable. Could you please help me with this ?

Soft LUD again on 14th and 15th May. This is driving me crazy. 5 days of Soft LUD at a stretch (9th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th) but no status change. :( |
