Topic: EB1 case overdue TSC Center
My case is overdue also at TSC. LUD was Sept. 2006. I called USCIS on 8/24/07 and was told to wait for update within 45 days. Sadly, I haven't got a response yet. I called the same number last week, and I was told my case was assigned on 9/20/07. Seems like they are doing something on my case at least. Hope it help. |
Topic: I-485 outside normal processing time, what's next?
I came from Hong Kong. My I-485 was filed concurrently with I-140 in June 2006. The last LUD was September 2006. And it is still pending. Since the case is 60 days outside normal processing time, I called the USCIS number last month. The lady who answered phone helped me to initiate an inquiry, and I was told I will have a response by mail within the next 45 days. She asked me for my mailing address and DOB. After one month, I called again today because I haven't received any response regarding the inquiry. The lady who answered phone told me she cannot help if an inquiry was initiated for less than 45 days. HOWEVER, she told me also that my case was "assigned" on 9/20/2007. What does that mean?? Was she referring to my inquiry was assigned? Or the application was assigned? I still did not see a LUD change.
I guess I just need to wait for 2 more weeks to see what the outcome is. Does anyone have similar experience at this stage? Or is there anyone who filed in last June and still waiting?
A lot of my friend who filed in early 2007 have already received the GC. One of them even received it yesterday (9/27) when everybody on trackitt is thinking the visa are exhausted from last year. |

You are not alone.... I am trying to be very patient also. My I485 has been pending since June 2006. Last LUD was September 2006. I have called USCIS to initiate an enquiry a month ago, still I haven't heard anything from them, but since it is not yet 45 days, I cannot make another enquiry again. Hope all these make you feel better....
Anyone wants to show pity on my story, please suggest what I can do.... |
