USCIS do this just for time pass, no logic will work with USCIS. My case is transfered from TSC to LA, California on 10/1/2008. My employer and me live in New Jersey. My I410 filled 485 days back. |

your points 1 and 4 may be correct. My PD is not current or me are my employer stay any were near to California. I remeber the old days of backlog center, that may be coming again, this time all over the US local centers. I got a leter from them stating that they want to speed up the process, that's why it is transfered to California. You may get same letter. |

They may want to use manpower from all the offices to eliminate backlog. If that is true,we should see some results. It has been more than a month (37 days) for my case. No status change or no LUDs. |

I am also in the same boat. My case is transfered to LA, California on 10/1/2008. It is same as you. Nothing happend after that. My employeer is in New Jersey and I am working in NJ. There is no logic why they are doing it, May be it is good, no one knows. |

You may be right. But my experience don't believe that. It may be an other back log center for dumping next 4 years, as they done for my labor. |

My employeer is from New Jersey and he did not have any other branches any where, still my case is transfered to LA, California. No logic works with USCIS. |
