Topic: A# question

I got my EAD card in the mail today and the A# is different from the A # on the previous EAD. Does anybody else have 2 different A #?

ead doesn't give you any status - it does give you right to work in us.

Topic: EAD Question

my employer is very cool and he is fine with me working when i am waiting for my ead renewal. i don't want to take the risk in case i have to go for an interview for GC. my concerns is how long can i stay out of work. can beeing on unpaid leave hurt my GC approval?

thanks

Topic: EAD Question

i just realized that my ead expires next week. I will e-file tomorrow. I told my employer today and he doesn't care. Do you think this will hurt my I-485 if I keep working. If i take a break, how long can I be out of work waiting for my EAD renewal?

Thanks

Topic: Your salary?

what do you mean my pay shows $ 83,000.
your salary is either $ 35000 or $ 83000. it can't be $ 35,000 but showing $ 83,000. are you getting the difference like job bonusses or performance bonuses?
every quarter the company files reports to irs and to state unemployment - the company has to list your salary - what salary are they using for IRS. i don't think you can get paid under the prevailing wage.
