Oh! I see.....
You are actually looking at what the drop down menu reads initially and not at the question. Good catch!

Please refer to http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18737. I have details listed there.

dhundhun,
you mentioned that you used H-1B as your "Manner of last entry" and as "current immigration status"?
Was your H-1B still valid when you applied for renewing your EAD or was it expired?
Mine has expired and I am not sure whther or not I should use H-1B as my "current immigration staus" selection.
for a drop down menu selection see:

Topic: EAD online renewal question
I see no "AOS" or "Pending Permanent Resident Applicant" in the "Current Immigration Status" drop down menu.
Check it on: http://www.shusterman.com/efile/ApplicantInformationPage3-I-765-BCIS.htm
Someone said earlier that they used H-1B but did not mention wether H-1B had expired. |

What did you use as far as legal status?
My H-1B has expired, EAD expires end of October. |

1. Use the USCIS Nebraska Service Center (if that is where you filed your previous one). Lincoln is a field office. |

Topic: RFE on NSEERS
Still working on it with my lawyer. I was never in the US when the registration was needed and was never asked to register at any US port of entry. In your case, you would need to provide proof that you registered. Usually the I-94 that has the Fingerprint Identification Number (FIN). Will keep you posted.
Thanks. |
Topic: RFE on NSEERS
This is usually a problem with the adjustment of status application but it seems that the officer reviewing my EAD application would like to see the I-94 Form that "may" have the NSEERS info about the "Fingerprinting Identification Number". I wasn't in the USA during the period when NSEERS was requested and I have the stamps on my passport that prove it. My question is: would the entry-exit stamps on my passport be enough to prove that I did not fall under the NSEERS requirement?
Please keep in mind that the Officer only requested proof for NSEERS that would be through registration because of being in the USA during a certain period and not for port of entry(POE) NSEERS requests. |
