This is absolutely atrotious. If they want a contract like that, they should have done at the beginning of the GC process which is the labor filing. They have no business to ask for this after 140 approval. Also, you mentioned that you are bearing all the GC expenses. I feel you should not sign the contract and threaten them that you will complain to the labor department.

You get Card and welcome notice.... You don't get approval notice physically ... But the card attached to a letter will say that your application has been approved

I agree with KillGCProcess. You will get the Welcome Notice and the Card. The letter with the Card will indicate that your application is approved. There is nothing like Approval notice. Actually, the Welcome notice itself is like an approval notice.

I would recommend the same thing. Talk to your employer and ask him to pay a minimum salary which could be adjusted in future or you can pay it back by check. All you need is a pay stub. But looking at your case, you should not have any problems with your GC. Good luck.

There is a logic in the USCIS application which will check for number of times you login. If you login too many times, then
they do something to prevent you from logging in.

They should have told you that they sent the results to USCIS. Normally, they won't tell you the result (whether it is cleared or not).

I agree with waitingfortoolong. He needs to take an Infopass and get his passport stamped. I think it will take quite a long time to get this corrected. For one of my friends, it took more than 6 months to correct his name.

I agree. You should get your GC anytime. Getting a soft LUD means that they are processing ur files now. Get ready for a party.

I am not sure if we can raise an SR for I-140. However, if they touched your I-140 which was already approved, then it might be an indication that they are doing some processing on your I-485 case. Looking at your profile, there is a possibility that your 485 is being reviewed now. A week before i got my 485 approval, i saw a LUD on my I-140 which was approved a year before.
