Guys - I really have to thank all of you....I know it is a VERY delayed response....I got my card and my Employer did not even hold it even for a day. The people in between were creating issues.
Sorry guys, I was out of country for a VERY long time and I am just back....I swiped my GC when I came into the country and it was a great feeling...
Now, I got my son's GC too just a week back and the only issue that is bothering me is my wife's case.....FOUR FP's - nothing moving till date....

Hi Gurus,
My EAD is expiring soon. My 140 is approved and 485 is not. Do I need to go through my Employer for the EAD renewal? Or, if I can do it by myself, please let me know the process.

I had soft LUD on Aug 22 then Aug25 and one more today .
Do we get so many soft LUDS before the 485 approval .
Guys who already got I-485 approved did you see so many soft LUDS .
I am not sure if it good or bad .
I got my GC (2 months back), wife's pending. And there was a soft update on 16th & 18th Aug.... |

I got my GC. ( Waiting for dependents to be approved )....But my employer has not sent the hard copy of my I-140 & I-485 Approval Notice...I even got a mail stating that they wont send the hard copy of the Original Approval Notices.
what do I do now....??? will this impact me in any way in future?

Bring your AP if you can't get I-551 stamp. AP will work as well ---> You can call USCIS or DHS to confirm this.
enduring, My son's case is similar...He has an AP and his 485 is also approved....Can my son travel with AP still ? and what will happen if he gets a GC (physical card), when we are in India...Does the AP hold good still, to come back to the US? |

Topic: Finger Printing rejection
Does anyone knows the maximum number of times that the finger printing can be rejected and what is the solution to this problem. My wife's FP got rejected the first time and the FBI said that the FP officer did not follow the process and hence was rejected. They scheduled a second appointment and when I contacted FBI for the result, they confirmed that the second FP was approved and the notice was sent to USCIS. What happens next is something I do not understand? My wife got a notice to appear for the third FP. On calling USCIS, they said that if an intimation has been sent for the reappearance, you need to follow the instructions. I tried explaining them that why she was being asked to come again when FBI says that the second finger printing was approved. But, evey thing was in vain. Can some one help me as to how I can handle this situation? |
