Hello, I need to apply for EC now as I got HSMP approval recently. Can anyone please clarify whether required funds can be shown in a savings account which is a Joint account as Either/OR with my Father?

Topic: Bank balance to be shown before applying for EC

I have query regarding showing bank balance.

I have applied for HSMP (not Tier1) in Feb 2008 and still waiting for its approval. If I get the HSMP, should I have to show bank balance for EC, though I haven't applied under tier1. Would the New rules applicable for the people who has applied HSMP prior to April 1st.
