Hi,
My husband and I are in the age group 25-27. Making a decision is really a hard thing to do at this point of time. One side we are thinking about the job security. In the other hand, opportunities are slipping by. People who risk themselves shine better. If they had not initiated GC processing at all, may be my husband would have thought about changing his job. Now that they have filed I-140, we are caught between the desire for a Green card and a job that pays more. Lets see what USCIs has in store for people like us. I have read so many forums here where people are waiting desparately for more than 8 to 9 years with some hopes...So when will we have the bulletin for September? even though I am pretty sure its going to U for EB3 India, still I would like to look at that with my own eyes and get disappointed. |

Hi,
I updated my case status in the I-140 tracker list.They filed labor in the month of february 2008. I-140 was filed in the month of April(24th), 2008. The processing center is Nebraska. Category is Eb3 - skilled worker category.
I feel so upset after seeing all the responses for the chances of filing 485 for the Eb3 category..I think we would return back to India even before filing the 485...
With so many people competing, I should never have expected anything positive would happen this october 2008.
Any possibility that the PD would become March 2008? If so, when will that happen? |

My company(TCS) will never do a green card for me. There is no use hanging with those folks.
I would be converting to H4 if I do not see any updates in EB3 before nect november.thanks a lot for the response and wishes |

Thanks for all the responses. Actually for my husband they are doing the GC. as i said earlier our PD is feb 2008. He is on h1 and i am on l1. my visa is getting expired oct 2009. i heard the rejection rates for l1 extension are on the higher end.thats why i was hoping if i could get my ead by next november, i need not worry about my visa expiry..with all the responses received, i think i should drop all my anxieties and stop dreaming high |
