Hi
I have seen the P60 in UK. In Sri Lanka there is document almost the same. Like here it is issued by the company that you work, buy they fill the details in form issued by the inland rev. I have check with the Inland rev in Sri Lanka, but they don’t have any forms issued by them to individual salaried persons. If you any specific form pls mention it. Then I can ask them to issue me that relevant document.

HI NastyKid
I am from Sri Lanka and just finished my masters’ degree in UK. Now I am in process of applying for the Hsmp and need some clarifications. Could you pls explain what is an “income tax return” document in Sri Lanka. I was Salaried and my employer deducted the tax from my salary. At the end of tax year I was given a tax certificate form the firm .showing the amount of tax I have paid during the tax year. Other than that I have never received any documents from the Inland Revenue department. Therefore my salary slips for the 12 months and this tax certificate issued by my firm is that enough to prove my salary. Pls help me
