starting april 1st, this is what i am getting too, specially with officer Laurie.
Do this, as soon as you hear officer Laurie, just hang up, try again.
If you hear someone else, just tell them upfront that you are not interested in the case status and thats not the reason you called. And come up with some execuse that will require them to look into your case. So now come up with some good execuse for example,
1) I want to see if my case is filed under EB2 and not EB3! My lawyer is not 100% sure blah blah...
2) I want to check my mailing address, if its set right.
3) I want to know my priority date set with the application.
blah blah.....
for any of these queries they need to look up into your case and might provide some info, or might be in the conversation you can ask few things around, it all depends how good you can convince them....
So far I never had any luck with officer Laurie (tried only once, hang up second time) as she refuses to even talk and keep pointing to national number... |

Not sure if this is the right thread for this but anyway.
I am wondering if anything needs to be done once i485 is approved but renewal of EAD/AP is pending? Any left over process?
Do we need to inform our employer (H1B/Green Card sponsor) about this i485 approval?
