Topic: Help seeked in sorting out correct doucmentation for Tier-1

Hi,

I am in UK working on a Work permit woking for an Indian MNC since last 1+ year. Am planning to apply for Tier-1 for which I have a few doubts & need your help..:

As part fo my Salary, I get Indian Salary as well as UK allowance. I have my Indian salary slips fully populating my Gross Salary but my UK Salary Slips only reflects the allowances I am paid every month.

Now my query is :
(i) To show my salary in Tier-1 form, do I to need to add my Gross Indian Salary for last 12 months (after converting to GBP as per Oanda's conversion rate) to the Total UK Allowance for last 12 months?

(ii) If I do the above, I am short of eligibility by £1000 but I also do have my P60 form for the last financial year where the NI & other Tax fields are reflected & according to which my salary in UK is much more than the net Allowance I am paid.
But as I said above, my salary slip in UK doesn't show the NI Taxes paid (asin no Gross figure) & reflects only Net Allowance paid for the month.

So not sure how do proceed on this? Can someone plz advice?

Thanks..

Topic: Need help in understanding P60 form for filling up Tier-1 form

Hi,

Let me explain this which will hopefully explain you my concerns..

I get 2 salaries - one in India & other in UK. In my company Payslip, I have my Indian salary well defined with all the components but in UK, I get my salary as 'Allowance' & hence, the salary slip is not well defined with all the components.

It just contain 2 fields - Basic & Designation.

Now, the P60 form which i received for the yesr 2007-2008 does contain a lot of information other than only allowance mentioned in my Salary Slip & hence, I wanted to understand it clearly to estimate my Gross Salary.

Plz see that with my Indian Gross Salary & UK Allowance for 12 months, I get short by around £1000 which stops me from getting the required 75 points.

Hope I clear myself. If you can help me in this, would requets you to kindly let me know yor contacts so that I can call you to further discuss this.

Thanks once again..

Hi bdp525,

I am not sure if we get any P60 form for the salary in Uk. As I said above, the sal given here is as Allowance. I can though get teh sal slips attested from my Company. Also, can get the Bank Statements.

For teh Indian salary, I can get the attested sal slip, Bank statements & (if required)Income Tax return
(though havent done it yet).

Also, I am not too sure abt NIC, though I am now trying to find out this information from my Company HR..

Hi Nastykid,

Hope u doin well..Firstly, I must congratulate you on your kind help to all those Tier-1 seekers who either have limited knowledge or low on confidence. Your suggestion really boasts thier confidence.

I need your kind & valuable suggestion as well on my case. I am planning to apply for Tier-1 certificatie as well but am low on confidence on my eligibilities & way of doing it. Plz see, I preferably dont want to consult any lawyer bcos all my papers r quite genuine..but its just that I am not sure how to put it.Could you plz help me on this & I would b v v grateful to u..?

My case details are as:

Age: 28+
Qualifications : BE in Com Science (I have teh certificate from University stating Mode of Communication in in English)
UK work Experience : ard 2 years (working on a work permit here)
Current Job History: Working for an Indian Software firm & deputed in Uk at cleint site.
Salary details : I get 2 salaries every month- Indian & Uk
Indian Salary : Rs 600,000+/annum (this is gross salary & I can get attested Salary slipd from company & bank statements.
But I dont have Income Tax returns certificate)
UK Salary: £1800/month or £21600/annum. (this is given to us as allowance for the month & I can get attested Salary slips &
Bank statement)

Now, based on above info, could you plz tell me whether I am eligible to apply for Tier-1. I reckon, I do but not solely based on Uk slaary. Either it has to be on Indian salary or UK+Indian salary. Since, I have been working in UK on a workpermit since ard last 2 yrs, I guess, I can't just apply based on Indian salary. But I am not sure how to do it based on both salaries.:(

Kindly suggets me what would be the best way for me to apply for Tier-1?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help..:)

Topic: WP -> Tier1 (salary evidencies)

Thanks Santafor ur kind help on this..
Let me put more details on my case..I work for an Indian MNC & am deputed here in UK at client site for almost 2 years now.
I get £1800/mnth (or £21600/annum) here in UK as Allowance & back in India, I alsi get my full salary (6+ lakhs/annum).

I understand based on UK salary, I dont qualify but if I also consider Indian salary, I reckon I do. My only concern is how to put thsi in the Tier-1 application form, asin, how do I make declarations..
I do have all the salary slips of Indian & UK salary & can get it attested it from teh company I work for. Also, I can get all the back statements for teh last 1 year for Indian & UK salary. But I dont have Income Tax filie returns for Indian salary.

Could you pzl now suggets what is the best I can do now to apply for Tier-1 & also, any furtehr docs required, so that I can try arranging it. FYI, I also have that University letter stating my Model of teaching is in English.

Thanks a lot..
