Topic: The wait is over .. finally

Received 'card production ordered' and 'welcome notice sent' e-mails for myself and my dependents yesterday. Waiting for the 'approval notice sent' e-mail. It should be coming soon. I have been a visitor to this site for the past 2 years. I learned a lot about US immigration through many discussions here. I share the frustration, anxiety and tension that you guys face. I am relieved that my ordeal is over. I wish all of you good luck and hope you all will get greened soon. All the best!!!

Topic: No LUDs after FP

Me, My wife and my son received an RFEs for our I-485. Mine is for EVL, my wife's is for H4 I-797s and for my son it is parent's marriage certificate. We sent the responses back to NSC on 07/02/2008. All of us had a hard LUD on 07/03/2008 stating that they received our responses and the processing has resumed. We all had a soft LUD on 07/07/2008. There was no LUD after that. Together with RFE, my wife also received FP notice. She had her FP done on 07/08/2008 but there was no LUD yet. I thought there will be a LUD soon after FP was taken. She called FBI FP check enquiry line. The lady who answered told her that FP check was done on 07/08/2008 and USCIS was informed on the same day. I read in this forum that people normally get several soft LUDs after RFE and FP. I am wondering how long they take before making a decision. My PD is current as I am in EB1 category. Did anybody got approval without LUDs after FP?
