Topic: AC21 - Do you need a salary or can you work for a non profit or startup?

Either way you should be paid. Working for non-profit -- you work- you have to be paid; otherwise it is volunteering job- no one @ USCIS would like that. Non-profit organizations just do not have profit on their financial statements; these company are supposed to pay less. You definitely must be paid and must have job that is similar to one on the labor certification. ( See all AC21 requirements)

Topic: I-485 pending for 470 + days, PD current, about to get 7th yr H1B renewal

No doubts,

File for H1 extension ASAP. You are eligible for 3 years extension. It is the safest way waiting for GC. Even if you have been current for October and will be in November, the USCIS may not approve/proceed your application. So many PD dated 2002, 2003, and 2004 ROW EB3 are on files @ USCIS.

Topic: Where are the I-485 EB3 approvals in Nebrasca?!!

Bakkar,

Give them a few more weeks. The agency has been advised to prioritize the approval of N400 because of the election. You are with a PD in 2004; I guess your approval will be before Christmas :).

Rgs,
