Topic: What is the new I 765 FORM to renew the EADs
No, I have the I765 form with expiration date Aug31.
My forms are received by uscis on 4th sept, I got notice of action on 10th sept, and till now no mail. But my case doesnt show on uscis website. when I called service center, they told me tht case has been received and within our system. I am not sure whether they will reject my case on basis of outdated form or not. please let me knw if you find updated I765. did u receive notice and then rejection letter or you received direct rejection letter without having checks encashed & receipt notice? |

My I765 reached to USCIS on Sept 4th 2008. I used old form cause I dint find latest form (form with next expiration date) on website. My check has been encashed and I got the receipt notice but I am not able to see my case status in USCIS website. the website says "receipt number invalid". Has anyone encountered this problem before?? |

Even I made request on monday and today is my 5th day. I filed under california service center. On monday they told me to wait till 5 days, but I got response in less than 5 days. |

Hi gyanendra123,
IO officer asked me the reason to expedite the process and as mine was renewal case, I just told her that i have a job in my hand but cannot work because of EAD, its hard to maintain daily expenses in berkeley with my hubby's pay check. I also mentioned explicitly that my organization can find new replacement easily, my EAD would not affect their business, I am the only one who is going to suffer in this situation. If I lost the position then it would be very difficult for me to get new position in current competitive market.

I called at given number and followed instruction, IIO had registered my expedite request, but i am not sure if they are going to approve or not. I will come to know in next couple of days. IIO told that my case is on waiting number 124, how much time it takes to process 124 cases? |

J2-EAD
Hi Guys,
I am on J2, filed renewal for EAD on 25th april 2008, USCIS sent me receipt notice on 30th April 2008. Do you have idea when I will receive renewal? My case is pending at california service center. my current EAD was valid till june 08, 2008. currently i m on temp leave, dont knw how much time USCIS is going to take, i m loosing lot of money. what should i do now? does calling california service center helps? what is expedite request? how can i file that? thanks! |
